I read the Illinois Secretary of State guidelines for truck licensing and I interpreted that a Maverick being under 8000 GVW was eligible for regular passenger plates.
The local DMV that issues the plates insisted that I get "B" plates. It seemed to me that the DMV just see that the vehicle is a...
I apologize for my poor photos but I think you can see this 2025 front license bracket has 3 attachment points and the part number for the 2025 bracket is different than those shown in earlier posts in this thread.
2024 vs 2025 front license plate brackets are different. Look on your 2025 truck's front bumper cover and you'll find 3 indentations.
The 2025 bracket mounts at these 3 points as apposed to the 2024 bracket's 4 points.
Temp or water doesn't impact what I described earlier. But my explanation doesn't occur every minute. So you may have something else causing your movements.
This random uncommanded wiper movement is a feature on some German engineered cars. With the wipers turned off the wiper motor/arm will pulse once just to rock the rubber wiper blade on to a new position. Its purpose is to not let the rubber wiper blade edge to deform in one position due to...
@ExpoGuy , I don't know what trim level or options you want, or how far you're willing to travel to buy a truck, but I believe there are '25 Desert Sand Mavericks available on dealer lots right now. Some priced $2,500 off MSRP. You won't get $2,500 off special ordering a Maverick I don't think.
These high priced listings are intentional.
They are customer ordered (sold) vehicles. The dealer uses their inventory tracking procedure to induct the vehicle into their system. Since the vehicle is sold, the dealer will apply an unreasonable price to the listing so that the majority of...
Your blind spot monitor is off or disabled.
You may have disabled it (turn it back on), a sensor may be bad or blocked (dirt/mud), and it is disabled when a trailer is connected.
2008 Infiniti EX35 Journey AWD purchased new and drove it for 17 years, 98K miles. Everything still worked and the 3.5L V6 ran great. Smooth with lots of pep. Only 3 drawbacks: (1) it required 93 octane fuel. (2) best attainable MPG was 24. (3) it wasn't a truck which I wanted again to haul and...
I began my search test driving a Honda Ridgeline. No front camera and iffy engine power plus questionable shifts.
Next was the GMC Canyon. The interior was nice, but it was too tall to get into easily. Plus the 4 cylinder engine was too rattlely.
Next was the Toyota Tacoma. It was too tall...
