The rep I talked to on the phone explained it to me. Rack-it has two manufacturing facilities. One in California and one in Kentucky. Depends on where you live, they make and ship the rack to the a dealer for you to pick up.
The California Plant has the tooling to make the aluminum racks...
I would call them and ask. They do make a model for other trucks that accepts Roll ups and Camper shells. Now that that have made a rack for the Maverick, they have the dimensions so I don't see why they couldn't.

I finally found the perfect rack for the Maverick. I can haul my 16’ sea kayak one day and the next day my dirtbike.
The rear bar of the rack is held in with cotter pins and slides out so you can put tall items in the bed like a refrigerator or desk or dirtbike or whatever.
