I gotta say after seeing peoples window stickers today, I texted chip @Granger Ford and confirmed that my XLT 2.0 Lux, 4k, FX4, Copilot 360 does NOT come with a full size spare tire. I think the way the build sheet on Ford's website show it as (included with the hybrid at no cost) is pretty...
Nice! I really wanted to try to stay local, I sent my quote from @Granger Ford to multiple local dealers, and they all basically laughed in my face and were dubious that it was even real. lol
Ex airline huh? pilot? I'm preparing for my CFI initial checkride coming up soon!
Nice!! Yeah I just got a build date scheduled this week. 10/11, super excited! I got the FX4 on the Maverick, hopefully the ride is okay! I do some off roading for hunting, and ice fishing so I figured it would be worth it for that, and with the low profile tires on my Jetta now, I feel every...
With so many tie down points, and nooks and crannies in the bed of this little truck, I feel like getting the factory spray is a wise choice for the Maverick.
Yeah not too bad at all! I've honestly been thinking about making the trip down to you guys for my oil changes to take advantage of your lifetime powertrain warranty. How strict are you about going a few miles over on the service intervals for out of town customers?
Where you at in MN? I live in the cities, and ordered from @Granger Ford just north of Des Moines for the 3% off invoice. Should be a nice little road trip home.
Just from the posts I'm seeing from dealers on here I think your hold ups are in this order, splash guards, drop in bed liner, hybrid, and XL. I've heard its been mostly XLT and Lariats with the eco boost scheduled this round. The splash guards, and drop in liner were late available items listed
If I were you I would contact my dealer tomorrow and see if it was scheduled. I'm also wondering if going with a high volume dealer like Granger, with a higher allocation helped me out? I'm sorry, I feel your pain! Please don't key my truck if you see it on the road
Never got a confirmation email or a build email, but I spoke with Chip at Granger today:
Build Scheduled 10/11
XLT 2.0, Lux, 4k, FX4, copilot 360, Rear slider, Floor mats without carpet, Cactus
Order date 7/19
Woot!!!! Time to sell my car!
Yeah good question, or did this last cycle begin in July. What a strange strange process. But I'm sure in the end it'll be fine. I know I'm #29 on their list. I really really hope wish I could have my truck in time for hunting first week of November, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'd be interested to know if the inverter could be changed out for one that could handle some power tools, or run an AC on a camper? Also does anyone know if the option for having 2 plugs (bed, and cab) mean there 2 separate inverters, or 1 inverter powering both plugs?
