I went ahead and modified my order to remove the hitch. We will see if it makes any difference. I have a base XL hybrid, color white on order.

I ordered on 9/16/22, same day as my brother, he got a scheduled for production email and I did not. I guess Ford does not want to build the base models. I ordered an XL Hybrid and only added the standard tow hitch. Oh well... life goes on.
