I feel the same. Debate a Colorado but not as efficient as either Maverick. I have found used mavericks but the resale value is too high to want to buy when you can get an f150 or Ranger for what they want on mark up.
I lean towards hybrid since I would love the MPGs but all EB AWD Maverick have been fun to drive. @Shay has great hybrid content and ordered a similar tremor on order.
I will say I hate the lack of information that my dealer has but they always sale new mavericks at MSRP hoping Ford will reward them compared to the dealers that are charging 10k over for a hybrid.
I considered an F150 but no luck finding one that has decent miles for what the Maverick will cost. But I do wonder if the EB maybe where I end up with getting sick of waiting. Would be nice if the process was more straight forward or open.
I get annoyed that they say they aren’t getting many scheduled yet I drive by yesterday and they had a lot of retail ones sitting there for customers. Just be nice to be told the dealer is getting orders.
Good Luck everyone! I called my dealer yesterday to try and hear about previewing and his thoughts were don't call Ford will email you. He did make it sound like what other dealers have said haven't had many schedules but rollovers and good luck on a hybrid with the current allocation formula...
As they talked about that was their intent, but they messed up and didn’t tell dealers how many orders to take and when to stop taking them so they kind of overfilled the bank so now Ford will have to make it up to people somehow.
Odds go up from 0 to 10% to like 30%. I did this since a hitch would be nice to have wired in from the factory. Cost almost $800 to do it later.
This is the best odds of getting built. I ditched it until I saw the cost of adding it later. Every Hybrid in 2023 I have seen at my dealer hasn’t had...
It hasn't been mentioned, I think they said at the start of the year they could build 20% of Mavericks that way. But it hasn't seemed to slow anyone up.
My best interpretation of these charts as an outsider is the less red numbers you have the better chance you have. Since we are hybrid that is the biggest problem. XL is being built at 15% so odds are longer than XLT at 59%. But it all depends on your dealer and ford scheduling. So there is a...
I am guessing that they are hoping a bunch of hybrid people will switch when given the the final build or no build. Worst comes to worst Ford just has EB stock to give to dealers. Although looking at Bronco Sports now I guess the long play is wait another year or two and there will be tons of...
When are your current projections based on the new math when Ford will be through all retail orders based on that new assumption? I am wondering when they will issue the change or not be built order for Maverick.
