I had a similar event with my eco-boost 22 Maverick back in January of this year. I took mine to the dealer where they cleared the codes and drove it around to see if they could trigger another fault. Spoiler alert… they couldn’t. So they gave it back to me and i drove it for another month...

I feel the same way. I had better luck contacting Ford customer care team directly. All the Ford account wanted on my posts was my Vin number and to advise me to take it to the dealer.

When mine locked up, my dealer that fixed it replaced the power control module on my truck. Since then, things have been okay. Trying to restore trust in my truck again by taking it out on some shorter trips.

Yes, that is where the mic is located. It helps to have something thin that you can slide under the trim piece.
