WTF? I just changed the Mobil 1 in my Hybrid at 4,500 miles (16,000 total vehicle miles) and it was black as tar. And GPSMan shows a dipstick at 10,000 miles with oil that looks like it just came out of the jug? How is that even possible???

My break-in oil was green, but a dark oil green. OP photos look more like coolant to me, and what was on the dipstick is entirely different.

I've always used the under hood posts for trickle charging, a heck of a lot easier than accessing the battery if you have items on the back seat….and I believe the under hood method is the recommended procedure.
