And why don't they just ship them without the hitch??? It's not like that can't be added later by the dealer. I don't understand why a $100 hitch is slowing down the assembly line or at least taking up room somewhere else. It could simply be added by the dealer once the part is available.
I think many of us have experienced this same wait and wait longer. I received my VIN on April 15th yet wasn't built until 8/24. My first date given for build week was 6/13 so yes it is a waiting game for sure. I am hoping to see my truck in my garage in the next 2 or 3 weeks if all goes well...
Mine was built 8/24 and left plant on 8/29. Ford chat today said it is in AZ today. ETA to Oklahoma is 9-18 to 9/24. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if it arrives early!!
I called Ford Chat this morning and my truck is now in Nogales, AZ. Still has same ETA to my Oklahoma dealership of 9/18 - 9/24. It is progress though. They say it's worth the wait. I think we've all waited plenty long enough. Good luck to my October Hybrid folks. Good luck and enjoy the...
I have seen several others on this forum with the same issue. Several have the hitch but a few of them have the very basic package so I have no clue why there is a hold on these Mavs. What's worse is Ford isn't saying. They just say no further updates at this time. Not good!
Are you still showing Built only and not in transit? Mine went from built to in transit on the 5th day. I have been in transit since yesterday morning. I wonder why the inconsistency? Makes no sense.
