Behind the glovebox, this thread should help: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/template-to-fabricate-abs-bracket-to-mount-key-lc2i-behind-glovebox.13078/#post-260084
True, but for me the magic is the Kicker Key 200.4, specifically the DSP.
I replaced all six speakers and added a sub, but the DSP and EQ that the Key 200.4 provides really made the system in my opinion. Adding premium speakers and not "feeding" them properly with an EQ curve they can use...
Thanks, I ordered them as soon as got home, also using the Rob Daman discount code.
I appreciate the lead, I've been waiting for these a while, having them previously in two CX-5's.
I had considered TuxMat in Maxpider's absence, but their hybrid mats are continually delayed after telling me...
I got an email from Maxpider last week indicating that 3D Kagu mats for the Hybrid were not yet available but should be in late October or November.
About 10,300 miles on mine, absolutely love it!
It was exactly what I wanted and needed. The XLT + Lux/360 package is perfect for me and I hope for many years with this one. I hope Ford keeps it optioned properly and slotted in the affordable market-space where it currently resides.
Sorry for the delay, I just saw your post. I was in that area previously to install a Kicker Remote Bass Knob for the HS-10 Hideaway. The panel snaps down an inch or so and straight back towards the rear of the truck.
Here is the thread that shows the internals of that area...
I've been on this forum a while and most of the mods I've done involved audio. In that forum, there are many who have been forthcoming with information and assistance. I was able to perform my modifications based on others that posted their build details and I was able to make a few modest...
I originally ordered a Lariat Lux but changed to an XLT w/ luxury package.
It wasn't so much about the money as getting what I wanted. After hearing the B&O system, I knew I would be upgrading the audio (which I did), and I prefer cloth seats. With the XLT lux package, I got more "stuff" than...
I just went down and saw some similar light surface rust in the strut/spindle area on both our Honda Odyssey and Mazda CX-5. I've seen this on before on a Nissan Frontier's driveshaft and on brake rotors on many vehicles.
I don't see what you mean. Are you talking about the surfaced areas on the castings that are not painted? Not uncommon for those operations (machine or grinding) to take place after coating.
Or maybe I'm missing what you're pointing out.
Maybe it should have been put this way:
All of the Broncos were SUVs
The original Mavericks were cars, not trucks. No lineage at all. Just a repurposed name.
Ford builds and sells automobiles. They ARE responsible for specifying, qualifying, testing and inspection of its components. Be it bad steel, faulty tires, whatever.
I worked for a Ford supplier and went through Ford's Q1 program. Ford qualifies their suppliers and "owns" the results.
First time hybrid owner here, approaching 10,000 miles on the odometer.
I tried the 80+ MPH thing a time or two myself, but the mileage goes to crap and I keep hearing Scotty bitch about what I'm doing to the dilithium crystals.
Several of my previous vehicles had pushbutton start, which I could take or leave, but one thing I like with my Maverick is knowing that if I do have my key when walking away, the vehicle is OFF.
Big screens, cameras, temp readout dials and lots of other tech featured in that video.
Makes one wonder where they're planning to get chips and screens?
I bought locally from an east Tennessee dealer, but I had some knowledgeable discussion with Two Rivers Ford in Mt. Juliet late last year. Results may vary, but they seemed decent then.
There was a $4000 difference in my 2018 Colorado Carvana offer in late December vs. what they paid in early March. That, and $800 in new tires to get me through the winter.
So, roughly $5000 difference for me six months ago.
As for the subprime auto loan bubble and related repos, another...
