i had tailgate stuck 3 times in the last few months and also have hard tri-fold cover preventing bed access I did the same as you mentioned, pushed hard on tailgate, but right in the middle of the tailgate at latch area. . It eventually opened but took a few attempts.

slight correction to your info about the fuel tank recall. It occurred at the factory after they sprayed in the bed liner. They used a drill bit that was too long to clear the newly applied liner out the bed drain holes. The drill bit punctured the tops of the fuel tank.

It’s possible the replacement brake module wasn’t faulty but instead they ordered the wrong one and are covering their error by claiming it was faulty and had to re-order it. I worked in dealership parts dept for a few years back in the 90’s and I can confirm that scenario does occur.

I plugged Xmas lights into the 120v bed outlet for the holiday season 2 years ago. No problems encountered.

i believe the dealer is obligated to provide a printout of the warranty and diagnostic work that they performed on your vehichle. It doesn’t sound like they provided that to you. I would go back to the dealer and request/demand that info. Hope they fixed your issue for good.

I ordered the Diode Dynamics fog lights last night

I had very similar experience with my ‘22 Ecoboost after 1 year of ownership. It had the flashing dash messages and was locked into that error mode and would not start. Had it towed to dealer and they replaced the dial shift knob. 3 years later and have not had any issues since.

Would these specific parts in the performance package be covered under a Ford extended warranty program or does extended warranty only apply to OEM parts ?

I did the same with Amazon product thru door speaker hole last week. I was able to get more area covered than expected. Very happy with the results.
