yeah, it's light but it slams down if you don't hang onto to it when opening . I like mine. BTW I put the removed "bottle opener" on a work bench in my shop. Nice benefit.

I purchased this one as well. Opens fully and the major deference to me is that it doesn't use the wire release mechanism that is very easy to open with a coat hanger that others do.

I'm not either. Yes - you are correct - It would come down to being able to prove that he was mislead and the fact they had you sign before inspecting was intentional. I personally would never buy a vehicle without inspecting.

I don't believe you are correct. The damage would be the cost of selling this truck and purchasing the one he was assured the dealership was going to provide. There were damages. He still needs to prove what they told him -if it went to that. I'm quite sure it wasn't worth the hassle to...

I most definitely would find another dealership to work with. One of the advantages of going with Ford - there are dealerships all over the place.

My Lariat has a 2/12 build date. -- I'm passing if there's a DJT tariff. Wish us luck on that.

This is the way my vehicles have worked for the last 9 years. There will be a submenu somewhere to adjust the sound as well. Just have to find it.

Any chance of ordering the original decals with the carbon fiber look?

The Rough Country Hard Tri-fold flip up is the one I'm most likely to order. I like the fact it completely folds up and the "squeeze" release for opening. The cable release are susceptible to being opened with a coat hanger or the like.
