  1. HYBRID ORDER QUESTION

Well, I ordered 8/2 a Hybrid XLT, Lux, Iconic Silver like OP and I don’t expect to get it until Feb. No production date yet for me and Dec production is only 4,700 units total. He ordered 2 1/2 months after me so I think maybe March production if he’s lucky and receive it in April but that...
  2. Ford Letter to Hybrid Order Holders -- nearly sold out for 2022 + free FITS Accessory Kit

My German Shepherd wants to exchange the back seat cup holder for a dog water bowl holder.
  3. TSB & FIX: Hood Flutter Shake at Highway Speeds

I will say that the BMW’s have padding under the hood like many people have said their other cars/suv or trucks have that as well. Seems like that might be the final fix.
  4. TSB & FIX: Hood Flutter Shake at Highway Speeds

I think most manufacturers use aluminum hoods, BMW has used aluminum hoods for many years and both of mine have them with no flutter.
  5. Picked up my Cactus Gray XL this weekend. Some feedback / notes

I bond interest does not count as income until you cash in the bonds. The bond collects interest for 30 years, I’ve been buying i bonds since 2005. One of the biggest advantages is interest compounds and no tax until you want to cash it in.
  6. What Are Y'all Doing About Window Tint

There’s a thread on here somewhere, I thought they were 30%.
  7. What Are Y'all Doing About Window Tint

It would be a cold day in hell before I’d let my dealer do it. They tried to sell me window tint 8/2 when I ordered for $499, they didn’t even know the back and back sides were already tinted. I will get the front sides done somewhere, I think South Carolina is 27% tint max and every state is...
  8. Ford Letter to Hybrid Order Holders -- nearly sold out for 2022 + free FITS Accessory Kit

I’d rather get a bottle of Tequila with a worm in it so I could spit it at my dealer.
  9. Picked up my Cactus Gray XL this weekend. Some feedback / notes

If you have $10,000 sitting around get a Gov’t ibond. Its paying close to 5% now because it pegged to inflation. Rate is good for 6 months then adjusts but it will remain high for the next two years. Keep it 12 months and theres no penalty for cashing it in. It accumulates interest tax free...
  10. Not "Boomer" friendly... no Sirius XM, no CD player

Good thing most of these comments are not on a company email server or many would lose their jobs. How are these comments any different than making comments about race, sex etc. One dumbass talking about why would you get SiriusXM to listen to Howard Stern? I’ve had SiriusXM since 2004 and never...

  12. 📢 OKTB Hybrid Maverick Date Confirmed = 12/8/21

Good news is for all of you on the FIFO plan, your paint will be well cured. Mines still in the parts bin so I’m on the LIFO plan.
  13. 📬 10/7 Scheduling Email Received Group!

I’ve switched to the 12 steps of Hybrids Anonymous. I’m on step 1, admitting we are powerless over Ford Hybrid production and our lives have become unmanageable.
  14. This LEGO Kit is longer than the bed of the truck!

I see that it breaks into sections just like the one on the bottom of the Atlantic.
  15. ?

You think Toyota is going to sit by and let Ford get this business. They could drop a hybrid in the Tacoma and develop a RAV4 based truck. New Tacoma coming in about a year.
  16. Sirius XM options

If you stream SiriusXM it uses 112 MB per hour, I’ve actually read other places that quote a lot less less than that more like 56. I only stream maybe 5-8 hours a week and use 1.5 to 2 GB’s per month. I have two BMW’s with SiriusXM radios and my plan has streaming. You can negotiate with...
  17. Hybrid Order Support Group

By the time my hybrid is ready to be built the all wheel drive hybrid will be available and I’ll just change my order.
  18. Making Sense of the Ford Maverick Hybrid Availability

US light vehicle sales are over 14 million so the calculations are way off. Ford alone usually sells over 800,000 F-150’s so the entire thread is incorrect. True electric vehicle sales in the US are tiny, something like 3%.
