it would have been nice for the Maverick Copillit to have front sensors. The Honda Ridgeline I owned prior to the Maverick had both front and rear sensors. Made parking easier all the way around.

While the Ford logo looks nice, I would prioritize functionality over the logo. Hopefully, I can get my dealer to resolve the issue as well ... the problem is the dealership is two hours away <sigh>.

I read that the felt is to protect hands when rolling the cover ... the metal part gets very hot in the sun. I guess the felt accomplishes that with no issues ... the problem is getting the felt to stay attached to the metal cover. The glue basically melts in the heat and the felt falls off.

I agree with your comments ... I have the exact same problem with the felt lining. Additionally, the cover was installed at the Ford dealership (cover was part of the sticker price add-ons). I am thinking it may be too far forward as there are gaps on both sides of the tailgate ... still trying...
