The bolts are M4.2x1.41x___ (whatever length you need). I think the stock ones are 19mm (0.75in) long.
The metal clips are called U-nuts. They are spring loaded to hold the bolt better and supposed to prevent falling out. Make them tight but don't crank them.
When you start the vehicle it's another pop-up telling you the pedestrian sounder has a fault. Doesn't actually affect anything. People sell plugs that replace the speaker by fooling the system to think it's still connected.
From what I've found the switch just goes back to the BCM and tells it to turn on the light circuit.
As for the light circuit itself, I don't know the limit it can do. Worst case should be able to take a little power to a relay for the additional lights. Could use the 12V pigtail hidden nearby...
Maybe some good foam tape?
Same feeling about drilling into the truck. Part of the reason I saved the inner fasteners for last. Lined them up for one shot with no redos. Even if it's covered I would know the ugly truth underneath. 🤢
A comparison chart may be good to add. Of course values vary. I filled in some "typical" numbers from higher-end batteries at auto stores to get started...

I had a few hits above the windshield within months of owning my truck from driving on the interstate all the time. Definitely down to the primer but don't remember seeing metal. I filled them with paint best I could right before getting a ceramic coating (should have done sooner but lesson...
Definitely switch which side the handle is on. In an emergency I would want it close the door so I don't have to reach farther into vehicle. Ergonomics and such.
Could you get away with a wider single strap in the middle for simplicity? I'm not sure on the strength of the plastic. Would need to...
Very cool.
I would definitely use a metal plate as a backer since I don't trust that plastic holding up over time. Maybe even sandwich one on each side of the plastic or extend down and across the floor for added support.
My 24 does it. It's pushing back from full lock. I'm not familiar with the electronic steering components but traditional hydraulic steering it was bad to keep the pressure on it.
That was my issue. I didn't like the look of what was available. For me it ended up being how they stick out from the side of the truck. Functional for most purposes but not needed for mine.
To be fair, if you search Google for "2024 Maverick headlight bulb" the AI response is typical AI but the top web results aren't any better. I searched Auto Zone for "headlight bulb" with the vehicle type set and it still showed me actual bulbs. Nothing that says they don't fit.
About 10 years ago I had the front bearings replaced on my old truck at Midas. Quite a bit of $$$ in the end but "that's what these things costs".
Out of curiosity I looked up the part numbers from the work order and found them for a third of the price on Rock Auto. Started my journey of...
