  1. RealTruck tonneau covers

I ordered a BAKTonneau cover with them Oct 16 and told I would have it by the end of the month. I questioned that and he reaffirmed with me, "Yes, this is the X4s. This will arrive by the end of this month." I have quit after the second call because each I call i make causes the the delivery...
  2. Tailgate Assist Update

No you are confused. It's the sound of the toilet lid slamming down that is the sound of "time to get to work."
  3. Average wait time for the Eco boost build?

I don't know if "average wait time" applies here. Orders were accepted long before build even started. Logically anyone placing their orders early, naturally have a longer wait time.
  4. No markup/ADM ordering.. My order experience.. Can be yours too!

Seems like all we hear about is greedy dealers. Maybe we should have this thread on deals that went good. Not all dealers are alike. I ordered July 2nd from Phil Long Ford in Raton, NM. Both Ford and the dealership kept me informed with the Echo boost XLT arriving October 11th. When It arrived i...
  5. Getting fed up...

My first new automobile was a 1976 Toyota SR5 pickup. I have owned more toyota products than any one deserves. 'Stopped purchasing Lexus when that hideous front grill got bigger and bigger. Went back to a 2016 Hybrid Highlander purposely bought before the front grill exploded on them. Sold 2007...
  6. Retrax tonneau cover allows for allows for Yakima, Thule or Rhino rack systems

2010 I put a Retrax on my 2007 tundra. Of course the bed was huge and I didn't miss the area taken up by the storage box. I had it for 11 years and generally it worked well. Towards the end it was hard to stay shut and the stopping locking anywhere was a farce. Occasionally in the winter the...
  7. Price gouging dealership

Thanks, I'm 90 min from Alamosa Ford, mostly straight track, about the same to Santa Fe, mountain track, so might try Colorado.
  8. Auto Insurance on the Maverick

$39.03 monthly from State Farm. But there a lot of variables to figure in. Age, yearly miles driven, city car is garaged in, different coverage amounts etc., etc., etc. I understand the vin tells it all but when I emailed my agent with purchase information I listed each safety feature the car...
  9. Pets!

Phenomanal breed. Ours tore her CCL in May and it was the most miserable recovery for both of us. If it was dog behavior she was restricted from doing it. Now I pick her up in and out of the car because i'm not confident in the repair and don't like her jumping.
  10. Price gouging dealership

I'm further north and have read other of your posts. I'm gathering from them that you didn't get satisfactory service there and so went to Albuquerque. I filled out a reservation on line of a truck I wanted. Days later Capital called me and told me it would be spring. I went even further north...

  12. Anyone buy the Premium Maintenance package?

Here is an example of maintenance plan prices. They don't seem too bad since they also cover common wear items. https://www.floodfordesp.com/premium_maintenance.php
  13. Ok, here is a really serious question about how much you love your Maverick

Wearing a Maverick shirt - serious really?
  14. Where's everyone from the Southwest?

Took delivery Friday Oct. 15th. Ordered July 2nd and delivered Oct. 11. I notified them by phone and a followup e-mail that I wanted no dealer badging and nothing that I didn't order on the truck. They had to sneak "theft deterrent system" on it that I'm trying to cancel. Sale went as planed...
  15. Resale Value on the Hybrid?

You can walk out the door with the title. I bought a car in Texas, paid for it along with a fee of $75 which was basically a bill of sale so I could drive it. I paid for the car, took all the paper work, title signed over to me from the dealership, and left. Actually did not pay "dealer fees"...

  18. Anyone done the 0% 36 month finance offer from Ford for their Maverick?

0.0% APR For 36 Months On Select Ford Maverick Models 2022 Ford Maverick Truck XL All-Wheel Drive
  19. Had a verbal deal at MSRP, but dealer reneged and wants $5k over MSRP

They add to the MSRP which is only suggested as everyone has stated. I signed an order form and ordered a 2022 Ford Maverick exactly as I wanted at a clearly stated price. If they mark up the price and I report it here that is no more bashing a dealer than reporting 3% above invoice is sucking...
  20. Had a verbal deal at MSRP, but dealer reneged and wants $5k over MSRP

I don't understand why you are afraid or don't want to name these dealers. As long as it is the truth. They are not ashamed of it and in fact seem to be proud of it. I feel like if you don't want to call them you helping them over charge the next guy and choosing to be involved in a questionable...
