I did this research already. In canadian dollars. Ordering Katzkin leather plus heating elements: 1700 ish. Getting the same things installed through a katzkin approved installer: 2500. By watching many videos i learned the diy project is minimum one long day. More likely a full weekend for...

My advice (this is what i did) drop the lux and get the heating installed through dealer affiliated katzkin. My leather + heated seat package came in at 2/3 the price of the lux trim from ford. Youd just have to deal with the non heated steering wheel
