What was the price? I think a black cap will be what I go with, too. I'm not loving how color matched Snug tops look (though I haven't seen one in person of course).

Do you use your bed a lot? If so, have you ever taken the liner out? You'll likely find a lot of scratches, possibly (probably) rusty ones. Spray in doesn't have that.

Huh, I thought Ford stopped taking orders for the Maverick yesterday along with the announcement. Maybe they just announced they were going to stop and the stop date is soon. See below, it's EOD 1/27/22.

Matter of opinion on the size making much difference. The 54" bed, less frame/drawer front&rear, gives you about 51" of reasonably secure storage.

With fully sealing of the wood and bed liner on the top, plus a bed cap, I think it'll be generally safe from water. I've seen some multi-year reviews of unpainted/sealed with a cap and they hold up quite well. I shall hope for the best. My wet dog and wet gear shall give it a good test over a...
