Just installed the one I got from Panda Motorworks and can confirm- the fit is very tight. It just about ticks under the trim of the screen.
Honestly, it was much tougher to install than I expected because I’m used to a little bit of wiggle room on a cellphone screen protector and there was...
I installed another brand without an issue. Undid the flap on the back, threaded the straps through, and attached to the seat frame underneath. I didn’t have any issues with the wires or sensors or anything like that. They’re just wires- it’s not like touching them is going to hurt anything.
As...
Anyone know if the parts breakdowns for the Maverick have been posted?
I'd like to get a replacement mirror cover to try a little something on (cost dependent of course) but I can't find a breakdown online.
Any assistance would be great, thank you!
I think this is great news!
I was all excited to wire LEDs under my cover but then got the wind taken out of my sails a bit when I found out the power back there was tied to the key.
Now that I know I'm good for 90 mins, I'm going to get ordering some LED strips to install.
Thank you @Big...
This took all of about 5 mins after I got the truck washed, but I’m quite happy with the way they came out.
I cut a larger piece than necessary, applied to the center of the lens, worked the film out from there and then ran a razor around the edge of the lens in the seam that’s present between...
I’m a big believer in knowledge is power. As such, here’s a YouTube link to a video demonstrating how to test a fuse with a multimeter.
How to test a fuse
As Phranc68 found, looks can be deceiving!
White XLT. I think the exact package is the 300 package? It has 360, keyless entry on the driver's door etc. Came with a roll up tonneau cover and all weather floor mats from the factory.
I tried to order it and just bashed my head into the wall dealing with local dealers ( I was used to Toyota...
Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a service department in the southern MA / RI area?
I'm considering Tasca in Cranston, but wanted to see if anyone had a better recommendation. I'm happy to drive if the work done is good, the price is fair, and they're willing to stick up for the...
FYI- Just because they're stainless doesn't mean they won't rust when exposed to road salts.
If they haven't undergone some sort of passivation to "remove" any iron on the outer surface of the fastener, you're very likely going to get rust.
I have no experience, but could aluminum fasteners work?
I bought mine as a dealer ordered truck.
I tried to order back in October and had zero luck trying to get the order in with two local dealers, so I gave up.
FF to Jan and while poking around thinking about getting a Maverick, I saw Chapman had a few coming in that had not yet been claimed...
I would love to know on this one as well. It's something that's been rattling around in my brain since I got my truck, thought I'd like to see the start button in the same place as the factory, rather that at the ignition lock on the steering column.
Found it! I think I'm going to give this a go and see if it helps with the water intrusion.
