Yes. You can always switch to trip 1 to see lifetime fuel economy. If you forget to reset trip 2 you can always reset it whenever you want to. Both “trips” run concurrently with each other. I usually use one for oil changes. I don’t trust the computer to tell me when it’s the time to do it...

I tried on two different orders with multi 800 numbers and their GM. In the end I was told I had to cancel the order at the dealer. Neither order was cancelled by the dealer.

No one has confirmed the Maverick will ship with less features. The vehicles Ford is shipping without chips is the rear temperature control module and optional start/stop module. Customers who opt into to removal of the start stop module gets $50 because it can’t be added later.
