They didn’t show me. They had the vehicle for 3 days before I came and picked it up. There were no pics saved. It’s definitely a cv axle. any misfire would cause a CEL. And it disappears as soon as I let off the throttle

Alright, another update, now they are not covering it. The claim was denied. I’ll have to change it myself because the service is a 2 hour job. That breaks down to be $500/ hour. No thanks lol

I’m going to have to investigate and see if that’s actually the problem. The service advisor said there was 5 people working on it for the past 3 days. Since it was struck. I now have to pay for the loaner and diag fee. I’m not happy about it.

I just got a call from the dealer just a few minutes ago and they said the driver side control arm was struck and so was the axle, they say that it is not in round and will need to be replace. They quoted me $1500 to replace it.

I wouldn’t buy, I need the practicality of the hybrid without plugging in. Hybrids are so underrated. Everyone’s pushing for full EV, yet I believe we are skipping the most crucial step.

The way I see it, it’s under warranty. It’ll work out in the end. The savings on gas is so great, it was worth getting the hybrid. I still haven’t taken it in. But I need an oil change, a recall, and then have the shake addressed
