Picked up Max new April 22'. Love it! XLT w/ lux pkg, 2.0, AWD, trailer tow. Only has 37k on her and besides a few recalls where the local dealer came to my home she's been trouble free.
Purchased 22' EB AWD 4k as soon as I could. Other than routine maintenance and recalls it's been wonderful. Just turned 37k returning to Ohio from Texas at 70-80 mph around 30 mpg. Couldn't be happier.
2022 AWD turbo with 4K package. NW Ohio to Austin, Texas 30.3 mpg anywhere from 70-90 mph. Must have had a weird going out. 31.1 mpg on return 70-80 mph. Unbelievable!
I just returned from vacation and while cruising through Missouri at 75 mph I suddenly lost power and pulled to the right. After dropping down to 55 mph I realized my wife accidently bumped the "Knob" while reaching in the console. Poor placement IMO.
Ahh the memories! Bought my used Apache Pop up in 77' for $325.00. After thousands of miles and many mods on the camper sold it in early 90's for $325.00. My tow vehicle was a 77' F-150 until the wife got her 78' Fairmont wagon.
My Maverick has been sitting a lot lately as the temp has dropped below 0°. Initially it would not remote start, but after driving 80 miles on an errand it now fires right up. It did start ok with a key prior to driving. 22' EB so I assume the battery was a little weak.
Found this at Costco last year in a 2 pack for 18 bucks. I take off the rubber around the bottom for the Mav and it's any easy fit for the console or door. Hot stays hot and cold stays cold 🤔
Like a lot of others, nothing but compliments after 2+ years. I've never had so many people ask about my 22' EB, AWD, XLT from the church parking lot to the gas station to the local cigar shop. Surprised by the number of guys driving full size trucks who say this may be their next truck.
Happy to hear I'm not nuts. My 2022 XLT, luxury pkg does this very intermittently so no big deal, plus I have the pin pad. And yes, only the drivers door 😞.
Not mine but I had a 74' Courier same Pea Green color. I jazzed it up with white wagon wheels and a short chrome side pipe behind cab to the bed. Sounded cool. Made 3 trips from NW Ohio out to Montana and up to Jasper Alberta. Traded up to a F-150.
