Probably because they don't want you calling every other day for a copy of the report. I hate dealers for the most part, but I feel sorry for them when I think about how much people are pestering them. They don't make any extra money for all the pestering.

There are still tax incentives for plug-in hybrids as well, which the Maverick is not. Timmy is just after your $$$. I don’t have any respect for a dealer that adds thousands of admin to their stock units.

Just from reading these posts I can tell that now everyone seems to thing there order from two weeks ago will now be here next month.

Allocations do not effect the Maverick like they have for the Bronco. No even close. But with that said, they can only build so many each day, so there is still a long wait.

I ordered an Extang Trifecta 2.0 today. Had an Extang cover on my ‘02 Sport Trac that lasted 12 years, never garaged! At 12 it still functioned, it was just looking old, so I replaced the tarp portion of it at that time.

Why would you think that? I would guess you are 99.9% wrong. Model years generally change in late Fall or Early Winter, not in the Spring.

That’s because on a “regular” truck, the bed and cab are separate. This is a unibody where it is all one piece.

Agree, and the first time you are rear ended and they say they couldn’t see your lights well, insurance will be a thing of the past.

Really? I think the failure is the lack of patience with a brand new model when parents supplies have been unpredictable.
