Thatās because they use salt on the roads back east! Here in Oregon they use gravel. We get cracked windshields and chewed up paint on the front of our cars. They love to lay it down but they donāt clean it up afterwards.
I refuse to pay some of the exorbitant prices for a pretty simple plastic piece (s) $145 for these seems reasonable. They can easily recoup their manufacturing costs and make a profit.
You will probably have to cut just about anything aftermarket to fit the mud flaps. Get a cheap dremal from...
Ya. Thatās what I was doing. I just got lucky and checked. Placed my order immediately.
the few other posts said that the mud flaps and flairs fit fine with each other.
Im running with some cheapo universal mud flaps. I cut them down for a better fit. Had to drill my own holes which was...
Sorry for the typo, stupid auto correct. I see someone else got the link!
I donāt understand why they donāt make a ton of these. Hopefully they got the holes lined up better. Mine are supposed to arrive Tuesday. Iāll take a bunch of pictures and post during install.
Iāve been checking periodically and like magic they are in stock! I just ordered them this evening. Better hurry if you want some it said only 5 in stock š±. (5-29-24).
I live in Gresham Oregon. If youāre in the area?
Sway bar went pretty well. (I posted it somewhere š¤£š. I havenāt figured out how to post stuff in the appropriate place yet š¤¤)
I got the good-win racing one. The steeda version isnāt much stiffer until the max setting.
Itās not a bad install...
That wheel and tire set up should work well. Iād start with the sway bar. Go somewhere safe and take some hard corners fast with the stock setup (and with the new tires). Then do the sway bar and see what you think. Iād start with the middle setting and for competition move it to the firmest...
I should have updated a couple days ago. š
I got the sway bar and waited a couple days for the rain to quit. Warmer weather prevailed and I got to work. Jacked up the back end of the mav. Started taking the various bolts out. Nuthin too difficult. Once it was free it was a question of how to...
Ok. Definitely not a cool guy hereš. Iāve run K&Nās most of my life. Mainly due to not having to buy a new filter every time. Iāve heard all the arguments. Iāve checked the intake tube and found no residue whatsoever in them.
Iām currently running the āgreen filterā in the factory airbox. I...
I donāt know how to link itšš. Itās a āvevorā brand. Just search that brand and do the āmake sure it fits your vehicleā thing)
It was on sale when I bought it. The price has gone up $40š. They have a couple different models. This was the height adjustable version. It takes a lot of...
Did some truck stuff today! š¤£. I just wanted to show the $200 dollar Amazon bed rack in action. It just has clamp mounts. I was a little concerned it was junk. But with the clamps tightened down it worked perfectly. Not even a wiggle with the (small) load. (Maybe 100lbs. The wood was...
2 years!!!??? I gotta get my garage cleaned out (we just moved in. Honestly!š¤£). Iām glad I waited the 8 months. The more I learn about this little truck the more I like it.
lol! Sorry! But the same applies to you as well. I love motor sports in general and the creativity of making cars go faster. Mad respect to everyone pushing the boundaries!
and keep the posts coming. Love to see you guys run against each other! Just to see š¤·š»āāļø.
Been reading through your posts. (Awesome!) Iād love to run the bigger turbo and a mild tune but my skills and mechanical patience is pretty limitedš¤£. Iāll live vicariously through you.
I love your concept of better aero! I was actually thinking of using a fairly stiff plastic. The underside...
