I think what you're failing to realize is that the 2.3 you provide C&D results for is in a very low state of tune. Why don't you take a look at some of the other Ford cars using the 2.3L. Point is its more robust and opens up a whole lot more power in not just aftermarket tunes but in factory...

Your head is in a good place, but just the act of opening an auto loan - even if it is 0% - will ding your credit. Some people have more important things pending and can't take even a slight ding to their credit.

Just be careful that they aren't all highway miles you should vary the speed of the engine.
