These are the 18" x 8"
(Sorry the truck is filthy, we got some solid winter driving in Truckee this past weekend)
This is my summer set. I have Vred Pinza AT/snow tires on my OEM wheels for winter.
This set has pirelli cinturato p7. They're a high performance summer tire.
Thinking about...
I was worried it would be too green. It IS green, but not too green. The light has to be really intense for the green to come out and when it happens it looks interesting in a good way.
I also have this pad on my Mav. Fits great but does slightly obscure the camera as you can see in the op's post.
On thing that i wanted to mention is that i added two 20" cable locks to lock the pad to the truck. Its not super secure or anything, but i keep my pad on all of the time so this...
No lift/level. I think the truck was sitting slightly up hill so it looks level. Tires are Vredestein Pinzas 245/65/17. No rubbing, don't know how they affect mileage bc i put them on at 40 miles old. They're very quiet for AT tires.
Oh interesting. I did not notice that. I wonder if they can fake it on the next one they do. Like take the pictures twice a little skewed and say it was from my truck? Anyway i'm sure they didn't take pictures.
I just had the recall done. My local dealer used a camera flexible extension to look at the top of the tank. You know the things they use to look down drain pipes etc. They did not find any holes. Perhaps your dealer would be willing to do something similar if your worried about disassembly (i...
For what its worth, I have an XLT/fX4/4k tow with Vredestein Pinza AT tires 245/65/17 and no lift/level and the best road trip highway fuel economy i have achieved is 26 mpg with CAREFUL driving 70-80 mph. My 'lifetime average' on the truck (i put the AT tires on at 40 miles it now has 850) is...
I was referring to your tank range. It's showing that you've gone 70 miles and that you have 322 mi left before empty. In my screenshot you can see that I did 300 mi and I have 93 mi to empty. So both of our computers are showing almost the exact same tank range.... 392 mi versus 393 mi. However...
Very interesting. Your miles per gallon average is showing at 38.8 for this segment of 70 miles but it also identifies you as having 322 miles until empty. If you look at my mileage above it showed that I was getting an average of 25.1 miles per gallon but it indicated almost an identical tank...
I have an XLT with fx4/4k now over 850 miles... I'm getting pretty woeful fuel economy with it ~22.2 mpg overall.
Essentially with the first tank of mixed driving we ended up with 21 mpg combined. That was driving very cautiously never over 75 miles per hour and trying to maximize the economy...
I found me some red dirt to spackle on the side of my Alto blue FX4. This is in groveland California. Also the truck is awesome in the snow and mud. I was pleasantly surprised, it was pinned and tail out through all the corners in sand mode. The Vredestein Pinzas were awesome. They are very...
I did my wheels on my Porsche. They charge $75 per wheel as long as the powder coat color was in stock. Mount and balance is $15 per rim. To remove tires was $7.50 per rim. This was Oakland California prices.
I wasn't. Dual clutch transmissions are known to be bad in low speed offroading types of scenarios. I was surprised when a lot of reviewers called out a dual clutch trans as a positive on a vehicle that was aimed at an offroadish crowd.
I wonder if a hole in the tank could cause a vaccum leak bad enough to effect fuel economy. My truck has about 280 miles on [so probably not yet fully broken in] and the computer [haven't filled it up yet so can't do actual] says i'm getting 22 mpg highway over the course of a 2 hr hwy drive...
