Was amazing! Originally ordered in August and put $500 down.
Was in and out of the dealer in ~30 minutes, no BS, truck was a Hybrid XL (1st Hybrid the dealer has delivered) and was 23.3k OTD w/ $500 Farm Bureau Credit (IL includes taxes in Veh. Sales).
Was dreading the sales experience after...
When I was younger I had 5% all around, which I just tried to drive a vehicle like that a few weeks ago and my "old" eyes did not like that at night.
I'm doing 25% or 35% on the front windows, leaving it up to the pro to best match the rears.
It's really hard to say, mine was finally picked up and delivered to the dealer yesterday, so it sat in KC for almost 2 weeks. Thats just my experience, others have been shorter/longer
Dealer called today and my Hybrid XL has been delivered. Having it tinted at the dealership, and picking up Saturday!
Strange thing for those who are watching tracking - it never showed up on Palsapp as being transported.
Same situation - mines been in KC since 04/06....However my dealer just called and said they are picking up a shipment of Mav's and Bronco's, and mine should be on the truck!!!!
My plan was to tap the rear speakers for signal, run new speaker wires from the front coax's to the amp, and run the speaker inputs into that amp, then output the signal from that amp to the kicker for signal.
The rear speakers won't be amped, just for a little rear fill, also plan on...
Perfect! Have never used the auto turn on before, so that will be nice not having to run an extra wire.
Also should be fairly easy to run w/ the hybrid battery under the seat.
I'm guessing there are connectors I can use to tap the rear speakers for the speaker inputs, then is the best method...
Backstory, used to be into car audio in HS, way before vehicles had all the fancy elec. they do now. Haven't had a proper stereo in years.
I want to do something that will sound way better than stock, but being budget conscious at the same time.
Here's what I'm considering:
Front Doors -...
That sounds reasonable if they do a quality job. I'd ask what prep is involved in that, and maybe stop by after he does one and make sure it meets your requirements.
The lifetime guarantee is a bit of a gimmick, I'd expect ~5 years out of a quality brand of professionally applied coating...
