I did not put spring on. Just put shocks on and shut hood. then pull handle 2 times and opened fine. repeated several times no problems. Check how the bottom bracket went on its confusing the bracket goes over the bolt but the other side that conexts under same lip so bracket lays flat...

Well I love my maverick xl but now it has 4 plastic colors because all the aftermarket parts come in black bought double cup holder for back seat and its black sticks out because center console plastic is blue but plastic colors doesn't make me want to get rid of it just wish I would have looked...
