A man met a genie and the genie told him he gets one wish. The man says "I wish to live forever", but the genie replied "Sorry, that is one wish I can not grant you" , so the Man then says "Well, then I wish to live as long as it takes the Detroit Lions to win a Superbowl".
The genie replies...
My driving leg? I keep my left leg off to the left side (no clutch to use, it doesn't do anything), and my right on the floor usually in front of the brake pedal or so. I saw this thread and was curious the other day, I'm 6'3" and had to try to find a position where I could come close to the...
That's a median though.
While the "I've lowered my Mav and blacked out the headlights " posts might lean to the younger section of the users that make up this forum, the "my blinker is too loud and I can't hear Ethel on the phone" group might be on the back end of that median there.
I did the autosaver88 roll up.
Amazon.com: AUTOSAVER88 Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Compatible with 2022 2023 2024 2025 Ford Maverick 4.5 Feet Bed : Automotive
$130. Works well, a bit of fluttering at high speeds from the wind and vacuum over the bed, but the sides stay down...
Could be. Or that they priced it like most companies do with their small budget cars. With razor thin margins. And with it selling so well they figured giving it a truck markup would be more appropriate.
But I really do think that was the idea behind the hybrid being the base engine...
Yeah that would tempt me to upgrade another step if i was still in Colorado.
And for me, I don't mind the hard plastics and manual seats. I'd take the capability over that. I like the cloth seats too with an offroad vehicle... my butt slides on leather and that stuff can get hot. Kinda old...
That's true but comparing apples to oranges kind of there as mine was too, just depends on preference. Yeah, I am fine with a pretty spartan interior. Just making the note that for me personally rather than a Maverick with all the extra features, at that price point in my situation I'd rather...
You can get some base Taco's in the 30's but I was talking a TRD. With the 25's coming out some high volume dealerships are getting 24 TRD's in the low 40's to move inventory before the 25's hit while they still have their rebates.
People on the internet complain and have opinions. It's what they do. For me, I don't want a $40k Maverick and I don't think that's a great value outside of a small niche (one where you fit in). Personally, if I was spending $40k on a pickup, and it's a Maverick with all the bells and...
Oh yes, I was talking 2025's, sorry. They now come standard with a 2k lb trailer hitch receiver and 4 pin connector on XLT and up. They don't have the Lobo details yet, but what's currently available to build, anything up from the XL has one.
And the hitch comes stock on all trims but the XL (it's a $100 add on for that trim). so yes, on the Lariat, you'd get that either way. I don't currently need to pull over 1500, but a small travel trailer might be in my future. So between having it and not needing it vs. needing it and not...
That's what I was thinking here... I saw 16 foot and was thinking low to mid 3k lb range. Sure, part is the 2000lb carrying weight, but wow.
But the power won't be the issue... they've got the hybrid pulling 4k.
Get winter or winter rated all season tires if you drive in it a fair bit. I've used Michelin's Crossclimates on my car and they are wonderful in snow, and good for all year round (though not efficient tires, your MPG will drop a little).
Other than that, FWD is great in the snow, it's not...
True. my hitch rack had a button to disengage and it would lean out and I could then access the back, I got that by luck, didn't know I'd want it till I had it. And it worked great for what it was, but still, toss the bikes in back and go is so much easier. I'm getting a pad, but I've got the...
2.0 ecoboost here.. No real problems, more things I wish for or just notice.
Hmmm, no option to select your own gears. It's got the power, but delivery isn't the smoothest either. Lobo I am sure will have that rectified for a truer sport truck feel. Kinda more a wish than a complaint...
Traded it. I had a Kia Soul XLine (2020) with low miles as that was our 2nd vehicle.
They came in low, but got them up to $14k. In Minnesota your trade in value reduces your tax amount by that difference so was looking at $910 more in value that way than selling private, and $13,750 was...
This is our 2nd vehicle. We had a 2020 Kia Soul X-line before this.
Things we liked:
Cheap. Was $16k new out the door when we got it (when gas prices were down due to covid and Hertz and others were flooding the market with slightly used Soul's selling off their stock).
Easy on gas...
Barring a live picture of one, I wouldn't go or worry about it. Likely they are ordered and will say they were hoping to have them in by now but are delayed... would you like to see what you can build yourself and order with us?
