With these covers, I believe it's advertised that you can close them in any order you prefer. Which notch do you have your clamps set in? Could you post a picture of the clamps and their contact with your bed rails? I'd like to see if they sit flush or if they are not making full contact like mine.

He was the person I was referring to within my post who struggled with the installation of his cover. When you click on his post, you can see how greatly the clamps differ from each other. I'm sure if he investigated under his rails, he'd find the same thing I'm encountering.

Reached out to RealTruck to inquire about this. Managed to get my cover installed but was definitely a pain. Took about 3 hours when it should’ve taken 1 max. Noticed clamps and rails were different everywhere. 2024 Lariat Hybrid for reference.
