It's not throwaway, not sure where you got that info from. Pretty handy really, instead of buying different size sockets for all different size filters or involving duct tape and hammers in the oil change process this takes care of it.
After reading reports here about the oil filter being torqued on pretty tight from the factory and no room for a standard filter wrench, I looked around and picked up one of these:

My 2014 Mazda CX-5 manual has no information on changing the transmission fluid. No interval recomendation, no service schedule, nothing. Personally I wouldn't follow the manual and never change that fluid for the entire life of my car, but that's just me. I'm not here to tell anyone how to take...
I have found keeping the power % under the first tick keeps it in electric mode until the battery needs charging. If you even whisper over that first tick the motor kicks on. Good for up to about 32MPH in my experience. Verrry slow acceleration.
Also note that turning on the signal to change lanes switches it to white immediately, so that it doesn't vibrate/try to correct you when changing lanes.
Thanks for posting these. I ordered the rails from Ford parts and the box took a beating, no bolts to be found inside. If I can't convince support to send me more these will work.
