I just mean if yours randomly got selected to be held and extra 6 weeks. You would hope they would all be fairly consistent. If they found a major problem with yours in particular, they probably would all get held up.
As HRG said above ford dropped mykey from their vehicles going forward to save costs "since barely anyone uses it". Out of curiosity what did / would you have used it for? I have it in my escape and never messed with it.
Build Date of 12/9 still in production here as well. Lariat BAP 4k Hybrid. Mine has the tear code (not sure if that means anything) and the window sticker. Its interesting how some December build dates are shipping before the November ones. I'm not sure how the
Ah yeah that's kind of dumb. I would have expected all trims to have at least a manual one. I just looked at the builder and the 2024 and 2025 Lariat windows look slightly different in the 3D renders as well which is odd. Both claim to be power windows but the 2024 looks like it has a latch? I'm...
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I thought all the Mavericks already had either a manual or a power rear slider. Besides the extra 2" what is different between this and the original?
Yeah this one is fairly simple to install but a little more involved than something like a fuse tapping dash cam. I would not try it if you are uncomfortable with splicing wires. I would for sure remove it temporarily if you had to bring in your vehicle for a warranty repair just to make sure...
Supposedly ford is pushing a software fix in January to address battery drain issues. But yeah that's odd you are still having problems with a better battery. Hopefully they figured it and and I won't have that issue on my 2025 coming in. I guess until the fix best bet is to just keep a trickle...
I was a little nervous about that as well but at least ford does Recalls and fixes under warranty unlike KIA and some others who always say "unable to replicate issue". From my understanding the hybrid transmission are much more reliable than the ICE ones.
Maybe a quality control person will accidently click approve on the request lol. I thought about adding mine to the app but figured would be pointless without being able to activate it.
Mine was scheduled for 12/09/2024 and has been in production since 12/4. This tread is giving me hope I might actually see it in January. We will see though not going to hold my breath until I get a status change. With my luck they chose to hold mine for QC lol
Yeah IMO no vehicle should have anything different from job1 vs job2 unless its a recall fix. It just makes it way more confusing. They should have just held off on building any until they could do it for all. That being said I am fine without it, just one less thing to worry about breaking. I...
Good to know it's an easy fix then. If ford doesn't get there battery situation figured out it may be worth switching to an AGM one like several others on the forum have done.
The mode being reset has been mentioned a few times on the forum and there is this aftermarket thing you can buy to fix it MYMAVMODE. Supposedly you can set a default mode and it just auto presses the buttons when your vehicle starts. I have a 2025 on order and am hoping they fixed it so it...
I probably would have waited a little if I would have known when I ordered stuff was going to be missing. Neither Ford or my dealer really pointed this out but I'm not going to cancel my order because of it. I can live without it so it is what it is. The only place that has mentioned missing...
What do you mean modules phoning home? Did you already connect you vehicle to the ford pass app or something? I thought you needed to acknowledge on the vehicle to do that.
I'm no mechanic but I almost wonder if the 12v battery may have been having some issues with the cold. I know the batteries they put in these things are pretty bad and the cold does affect batteries but usually only after they are near the end of their life.
