I installed quintessential seat covers from the 70s. Cheap ass drug rugs . And my seat heaters work fine. As for a safety concern, there isn't any. They're not going to burst into flames. They don't get that hot. Edit: ok I'll bite. Make sure your covers are seat heater approved. 👌

Wrong. The seat covers do nothing with effectiveness of the seat heaters. Mine have had seat covers since day one.
