  1. Random high revving

The hybrid has no tachometer so I’m going by sound. It has 60,000 miles and it’s never once done this and I’ve never once heard it rev even close to this loud. I’ve been driving for 25 years and I am pretty certain what redlining sounds like.
  2. Random high revving

Ac was not on. It’s never done this in 60,000 miles.
  3. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

My dealer acknowledged mine also and told me I Dan safely drive it until the new ones come in. No estimate on when that will happen. If anything goes wrong it’s on them now.
  4. Random high revving

Yeah this was not just normal high rpm. This was legit redlining. I’ll add it to the list to look at whenever my new cv axles arrive.
  5. Random high revving

Good question, my foot was on the brake when it started , I was afraid to remove my foot lol
  6. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

Mine were ordered yesterday. Said they were on back order but “being filled”. I was told 2 weeks. I really hope I don’t get one of the last remaining old ones. I’ll be over 60,000 miles very soon if I need to replace again. Would be nice if they made this a priority for the people who are...
  7. Random high revving

Interesting, seemed quite aggressive, definitely redlining I would assume. Thank you!
  8. Random high revving

My Maverick is no stranger to issues and a new one surfaced today. I was backing out of my driveway and right before I was going to put it into drive it started to rev like I was in neutral and slamming on the gas. However I was in reverse and my foot was on the brake pedal. I have a hybrid so...
  9. Nationionwide CV axle backorder? Both axles bad on stock 23' Hybrid 48k

Mine are bad too, just got back from dealership. They said they are backordered but being fulfilled. They estimated 2 weeks and told me it’s ok to drive in the meantime….
  10. The amount of cracked windshields is absurd.

My guess is the angle of the windshield and the aerodynamics that the hood creates.
  11. The amount of cracked windshields is absurd.

I don’t think your good luck cancels out the massive amount of cracked windshields reported here and elsewhere.
  12. The amount of cracked windshields is absurd.

While I’ve “only” had to replace my windshield twice the first one had 3 repaired chips and my current one has 2 repaired chips. My 200,000 mile Corolla had one chip since I bought it. I am gonna go with design over bad luck.
  13. The amount of cracked windshields is absurd.

How many times a day do jeep owners tell people they are jeep owners?
  14. The amount of cracked windshields is absurd.

That’s weird, didn’t expect to see you here.
  15. The amount of cracked windshields is absurd.

Ive been driving 25 years and in the 2 years I’ve had my maverick I’ve had more windshield cracks then the previous 23 years. I’m on my 2nd windshield but the first one had 2 repairs before I replaced it. I finally had to replace it because I got another crack on a road trip and couldn’t get...
  16. Late 2023 build hybrid shudder

Mine did this until I had the damper replaced. Involved removing engine and transmission. Also got rid of rough and loud idle on cold starts.
  17. 55 hours in my Maverick

Just logged 55 hours and 2272 miles in my hybrid. Mostly highway so happy with the mpg. Overall a comfortable ride and plenty of room for luggage, cooler, etc. A valuable tip id like to pass along would be to carry a cheap windshield repair kit in the truck for on the spot repair of chips and...
