The hybrid has no tachometer so I’m going by sound. It has 60,000 miles and it’s never once done this and I’ve never once heard it rev even close to this loud. I’ve been driving for 25 years and I am pretty certain what redlining sounds like.
My dealer acknowledged mine also and told me I Dan safely drive it until the new ones come in. No estimate on when that will happen. If anything goes wrong it’s on them now.

While I’ve “only” had to replace my windshield twice the first one had 3 repaired chips and my current one has 2 repaired chips. My 200,000 mile Corolla had one chip since I bought it.
