I guess what i'm trying to say is that the heat does not penetrate the hood, hopefully keep the paint prestene. Always had this on previous vehicles, some came with from the factory.
That seems a little high priced but easy to install. I got this from Amazon. Cut to fit and self sticking. Just as thick as OEM versions. Enough to do two under hoods and was only $40.00. Seems to quiet engine noise down just a bit and also provides a little heat rejection.
Get the Tufskinz ones. Put them on my Mav last week. Pevious were on my Tacoma for 5 years and still looked like the day they were put on. Many colors to choose from.
Anybody buy one of these? Aluminum color anodized like blue, red, silver, etc. Mine won't fit over the stock knob. Did the 2025's get larger? Or do you have to remove something? TIA
Maxina or Mabett? Which one seems to fit the best and what do most go with? Both look good to me, just looking for opinions (I know, bla, bla, bla......)
