thanks, i dont think either of those will work. the hole is tiny (it barely fits the flat dime in the pic) and it seems to go all the way down. my guess is i will have to remove the whole console and sweep it out.

the center console latch has the hole. is there an easy way to empty it out? i added a pic where i stuck a dime right in front of the hole. if you need to know why, i have a "friend" that knew that the rattling would annoy me.
