i'm still struggling to install mine at the back and calling it a day.
For my version and likely @AUTiger83 , these have SD cards with the ability to review with wifi
haha very true. the more I looked into it, I could tell I'd need more wire aka more trips to the store. I couldn't rationalize it. Best to cap that wire off. I think I'll attempt the same outside mount since my rear view is tinted
I'm guessing you approached it from inside the cabin by removinmost of the g the carpet? I was glancing under the hood and noticed the blended cloth-like liner makes up most of the wheel well. I'm thinking I'd try to deaden from the cabin instead
I finally got my micro3 add a fuse so I can tap into fuse 1. here's my next dumb question that I didn't see in the video:
Did you tie in the Wolfbox rearview camera with reverse lights? I'd guess not since the reverse lights are at the two tail lights. I also can't see a need for it when the...
Did you ever sound deaden the front wheel wells or front floors? I glanced at the wheel wells, and the material seems like it won't stick well to the Resonix tiles; I could be wrong since I'm very new to this.
I just did the back panel today. Didn't get around to the floor under the bins, but...
i debated a lot between hard retractable and a hard trifold. I went with the Bakflip Mx4. I liked that I could fold it up against the window if needed. It wasn't a bad install. I only wish I had installed it after I did the Nilight bed lights. I haven't tested it against the rain just yet
thanks for the quick reply! I was looking to do those same ones after digging through several posts. Naturally, I didn't order the micro3 add-on. i at least ran the wire by the passenger A pillar so today wasn't a total bust
So did you use the micro3 fuse tap in Fuse 1 for Accessory power? Where did you end up tapping into for constant power, if at all?
i got the Wolfbox 840h (wifi version) with their hardwiring kit, but I prefer to use an unused fuse.
just wanted to thank this thread and @RDRahn for his youtube videos. I did the Nilight strips and tapped into the bed light. I debated adding the magnet mechanism, but I was already reaching the limits of my electrical skills. I figured I can always go back to it. Buying the fish tape really...
Thanks for your thoughts! Yeah, I'm thinking back to my prior hard tri-fold, and I think I only removed the cover once. If I go with a retractable cover, I'd definitely do the SyneticUSA. The price seems so fair for what it is.
I've been researching covers. My last vehicle had a hard trifold cover. It was rare that I hauled anything that needed the cover completely taken off the bed.
Have you had to remove the retractable cover for anything? Removing a hard trifold wasn't the biggest pain in the butt. I'm heavily...
I love this reference as we use it in the lab.
My best friend had preordered a Rivian R1T in 2021 and was going to pass the order on to me. The benefit was I would have been able to get it at 2021 prices, and they look like really awesome trucks. As I waited on my Maverick, I spent a lot of...
