I agree. I think I would have looked at it if the Ford wasn’t released at the same time. It has lots of good features. I went with the Lariat so I am not too far off from a price-point perspective. I will say, the grill is aggressive - saw it coming from a quarter mile away! 😜

Saw my first Santa Cruz on the roads. I have to say, it wasn’t as weird or unconventional looking as I expected. Different, yes, but not totally freakish. Have yet to see a Maverick “live and in-person.” Still like the looks of the Ford much better!

That is what I did. Got a confirmation email from Ford. Not saying this is the right way to do it but it’s the process the dealer I spoke with used. Fingers crossed.

I really like the orange accents. Looked at the XLT but I have a dog who shed something fierce (think ”Pig Pen“ from Peanuts) so went w/the Lariat but the interior of the XLT is way sharper in my opinion. Enjoy!

I have to say, the Lariat interior is the least appealing part of the Maverick for me. We have two dogs who shed a ton; current car has cloth and it’s a nightmare so swore my next vehicle would have leather (or in this case, pleather). I hope it’s less orangy than it looks with camera lights...
