Did the shop give you any more insight to what "imploded" means here? I'm assuming that was just a term of convenience to describe an electrical fault that kept the system from working, rather than something mechanical breaking (but not braking).

EDIT: Just realized I'm looking at an ecoboost, not 2.5l hybrid. Looking at a 2025 on the dealer lot, the fill cap shows 5w-30. I feel like I'm missing something, surely an engine in 2025 uses thinner oil?
