Tracked my order today (02/20/2023) and guess what I discovered? Updated status says "in production". Maverick Lariat w/FX4 package, 2.0L Co-Pilot360 and 360 Assist, Sunroof Lariat Lux Package No bed liner, no mats, no splash guards, etc.

The wheel arch molding looks great with the other black trim (bumper, door sill, etc.) on the vehicle. My question to the forum is "can the Ford splash guards be used with the wheel arch molding?"

Now, the dealers will need to hire and train a Gestapo-like team to enforce these contracts. What's going on in this world?

To my pleasant surprise, I received an email from Ford on 02/07/2023 at 8:17pm that the production of my Maverick Lariat has been moved up by a week. The previous production date was 02/28/2023, now it's 02/20/2023. Original order date was 09/15/2022. Crossing my fingers...!

The 2024 Tacoma may not be in the same class, but it could potentially steal some sales from the Maverick (especially, those pissed off at Ford and their dealerships).

I own a 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands. Prior to this, I owned a 1985 Ford Mustang GT. So, I am a returning Ford person. My 2023 Maverick will be my first pick-up "truck".
