@bbhaag It wasn't backwards. I tried it every-which-way. It was slightly warped. It's better now and fits fine. I'm very happy with it now. My only "expectation" was for the damn lid to close!

Got it! It probably was a tad bit warped, but I got it in, and now it fits and is easily removed. It just needed some convincing. 😂

Update: it fits! I had to "finesse" it a bit, as it did appear to be ever-so-slightly warped. I really like it and did NOT want to have to return and re-buy! Thanks, All, for your input.

I did already try that. It sits high on the left side when I do that, and the lid won't close at all. I think it's just a bad mould. 😪
