In case anyone else thinks about knocking out both of these installs while the front clip is off like I just did, it doesn't work with the current trim plate. If Diode Dynamics modifys the trim by moving the lights closer to the out edge it would clear and these would work together. As it is...

I've heard the scoop helps reduce the sun glare from the hood when you are driving at just that right angle so it is functional.....and it looks good too.
