  1. Costco Gas? Real Savings?

FYI - not all Top Tier gas is the same. For me, it has nothing to due with octane, it's about detergent for all my engines.
  2. Costco Gas? Real Savings?

Yeah, that's why you'll need more toilet paper!
  3. ⏱ Maverick Scheduling Next Week (2/14) For Production Build Week 4/18/22

From what I understand only Ford (not a dealer) can set a code lower than a Code 10. How do you know you have a Code 02?
  4. 📬 02/10 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

    Probably Christmas . . . . hope you're wearing your BP vest
  5. 📬 02/10 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

And THANK YOU! . . . please let us know the scheduled date when you get one. This is fitting in with my theory I posted earlier.
  6. 📬 02/10 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

That's great and it's an XL, not a high profit model. Any chance you would share the last six digits of your VIN?
  7. 📬 02/10 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Yep, you're seeing what I see. I think they are going to try and build a total of 100,000 units in the twelve months of 2022 -25,000 each quarter. If anyone wants to believe Ford would take MY23 orders scheduled on August 23 with all previous orders filled they have another one coming. Not to...
  8. 📬 02/10 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

I started a thread about VIN numbers a little over a week ago. Several replies just didn't understand what I was saying -- some saying that VIN numbers don't mean anything and that the Bronco Sport was entangled in the VIN numbering sequence -- not true! I beg the administrator to publish the...
  9. Jim Farley: We know who are the 10% of dealers charging ADM markup and their future allocations will be impacted

The Federal Trade Commission on MSRP -- The key word is "suggested." A dealer is free to set the retail price of the products it sells. A dealer can set the price at the MSRP or at a different price, as long as the dealer comes to that decision on its own. However, the manufacturer can decide...
  10. Had enough or are you ready for more?

If in fact the Bronco Sport units are included in VIN sequence then that would explain some of it, even though it makes no sense. It would also be something that Ford has changed since my uncle worked at Fords other Mexico plant and several others in the USA for decades. I consulted my uncle...
  11. Had enough or are you ready for more?

A little while back the Administrator posted a list of the Members who's orders were scheduled, built and delivered. I remember a post that stated roughly 7% of the members fell into one of those categories out of close to 4,500 members (didn't check it but no reason to doubt it). A little time...
  12. Production Constraints & Planned Production Rates For March-April (as of 1/28/22)

You know, I have possibly come up with some numbers that will probably just be more bad news, We've had our share of it the last few days and I am reluctant to start a new thread for discussion late on a Friday. But then maybe it might be better to get it out there now? From your post you seem...
  13. Production Constraints & Planned Production Rates For March-April (as of 1/28/22)

I don't believe there is a SOFT roll-up . . . . just cancelled my HARD roll-up! Only had two options on my Hybrid Lariat -- Roll-up and Hitch. In fact, when I entered my order into the form's list I was the ONLY one who ordered with just those two option.
  14. ‘22 Order Pushed To ‘23

I ordered a Hybrid on the 21st of October and if I don't receive my truck until August or so I actually hope it gets titled as a 2023. There is a point when the value is effected. Down the road if the truck is sold some buyers may pass it up because it's a year older. It seems to be more of a...
  15. Straight from the horse's mouth- Ford CEO Jim Farley

I the case of Dealers "gouging", the term seems perfectly appropriate. There's several verbs we can use like "overcharge" but the slag for that is "gouging". Cheat, Extort, Rip off, soak, gyp, pad, soak, fleece, stick it, nick, clip . . . . ALL would apply. Like many on the forum the first...
  16. 400w 110v bed outlet added

Hope to get the EB alternator ratings and battery size so I can report the end results of the inverter research. If someone that has an EB and can't get an Amp meter reading might be able to find the rating on the alternator housing. If so please post the ratings and just post a photo of the...
  17. Straight from the horse's mouth- Ford CEO Jim Farley

The Context of the article Interest in the Maverick, with an MSRP of $19,995, comes as new vehicle prices are at an all-time high, up about 12% from a year ago, according to Consumer Price Index data. The chip shortage has greatly contributed to those higher prices, and Farley predicts that...
  18. 400w 110v bed outlet added

Excellent find wyouger and this is just the stuff we need. So, it's obvious now that Ford is installing a MWS unit in the Maverick. I am so glad you posted your research because you probably just saved a few members from losing a tool or piece of equipment. Not the end of the world for those...
  19. Chip Production News

Thanks, I hope that happens. Nov 18, 2021 "Ford said the partnership with GlobalFoundries, a leading international semiconductor company, will advance semiconductor manufacturing, technological development and chips for Ford and other auto companies. Any chips for Ford would likely be made at...
  20. 400w 110v bed outlet added

We can all work on this -- I welcome any info you and other that can contribute. Because the Hybrid doesn't use the 12v battery to power a starter the battery is very small. You already know an inverter converts 12v to 110v and constant depletion of the 12v battery will seriously shorten the...
