It's unfortunate you're having issues with your new Maverick and particularly how this is being handled. Fortunately Alabama has pretty good Lemon Law and this is were I would concentrate ALL your energy towards. Document everything, take notes and be prepared!
Here's a link that you may want...
Exactly . . . There could be several reasons why that could have happened. Do we even know if this XL wasn't a Fleet order that was backed out of by whoever ordered it? If the VIN number is still available I believe that would indicate it was a Fleet order. Did it have Cruse?
As for the ride ...
This guy just got tired of waiting so he built the the whole damn thing out of wood!
Actually it's a great truck featured in Motortrend magazine n 2016.

If I needed a sledgehammer for a specific project, like busting up my sidewalk, I would purchase the one that would be the most efficient and effective. I wouldn't buy the little guy to do the big guy projects nor the big guy to do little guy projects.
I think the Maverick has been pretty well...
Because he pulled over, shut the truck off and after it was restarted, it was fine for a bit (restarts would reset the computer). It sounds like it could be the solenoid -- simple fix, may just need new solenoid. Dodge and Chrysler are infamous for that problem. Really interested in what the...
Thanks for seeing the obvious in my posts and not accusing me of any nefarious conduct. Your proof that there are exception to the rule. I'll just note that some email accounts can be set up to Delete Spam as soon as it comes in.
This is an email ramped across many of the Ford forums for more...
First of all I absolutely said for people to check with their dealer. Second of all, my statement isn't absolute or I wouldn't have suggested to contact their dealer. Third, this is not Maverick specific, F-150, Mustang, and Bronco orders are getting the SAME EXACT "Spam Email.
So, let's...
It says "UPDATE", not Change?
Everybody that has an order in with a dealer for a Ford Car, SUV, or Truck got this email -- not just Maverick folks. If your purchase is complete (Sold) then you were not on Ford's list to get the email. As I posted earlier, if you didn't get the email your email...
*** To All Who Did Not Get This Email ***
If you didn't receive this email and you have checked your SPAM folder, this thread is evidence that your email is NOT in Ford's system and you will NEVER get the email you have been so patiently waiting for. This "Computer Generated" email went out to...
Your post is a reasonable assumption base on current news and common sense. I posted this yesterday so for those that didn't see it, this "could" be the case for delayed scheduling. It is possible scheduling will carry over to today -- we'll see.
Ford scheduling is done on Thursday’s but at...
Hope this is something simple to fix but in reality it sounds like it could be major. Because this is the first time we've heard of a problem like this it seems to be an isolated incident.
I'm not going to get ahead of a diagnosis but this is probably a good time to mention that the Maverick...
Just a section of Ford's Scheduling Process:
A Dealer needs allocation each week for scheduling for each vehicle
line. Even without allocation for a vehicle line, Ford is pretty good at
trying to schedule retail orders even when a Dealer doesn’t have
allocation that week. When a Dealer knows...
