Makes perfect sense. What they ask is important. Yes, ford is an iconic American brand. But as a car guy, thatās not enough for me in particular. But I get where the conclusion comes from.
What strikes me about this designation is not the type of statistical analysis used, but the conclusion. Ford is the most recalled vehicle in the nation (I believe. Iām sure Iāll be corrected if wrong) How is that a company to be lauded? The quotes in the article sound much like so much...
I think itās a simple, elegant solution to a new design choice I donāt particularly like either.
the lemon law option is intriguing. Can you explain it a bit more? What are the time limits on it? Mileage limits? Did they make you whole?
Jmjb might have hit the nail on the head. Had the exact same thing happen to my 22 hybrid xl. There is a check valve of some sort in the gas fill neck. It must be electronically controlled. Mine stuck closed. Threw a code on the dash (canāt remember which) The valve āfixedā itself at the next...
When I plug my phone in (iPhone) I have no access to the fm radio. No clue how to gain such access. So I just listen to pandora or Sirius thru the phone. Iād be curious to learn if there is a way to get the radio to work when my phone is plugged in.
I had an Izuzu hombre (s-10) with a full ladder rack. 20ā trim no problem! But the bed extender is for occasional long loads now. No need for overhead racks. But I agree that they are very helpful. This particular load was too heavy for an overhead rack, though.
22 xl hybrid loaded with 330 board feet of hickory. 12ā long pieces, reported (by lumber guy) to weigh 1200lbs. I think it was less, but still one of the heaviest loads Ive carried! About 30 miles on rolling country roads, 20-45mph. I certainly felt the load, but the maverick did quite well.
I did!! (Technically I got the tow hitch as it was $99, at the time, about $100 less than Curtis)
I only have 22k miles on it, but absolutely no problems so far. Used as a commuter and work truck. I would do it again. I really like basic transport and long for the days of manual windows and...
I just changed my 22 hybrid tires at 21k miles. I thought they were toast, but reading all these posts and yours In particular has me wondering. I did no depth testing. Just eyeballing. Oh well. Iāve said it beforeā¦I do like learning on this forum.
Wow. Some aggression there. I actually peruse this site daily and enjoy learning from others. Alas, you just want to denegrage me and others rather than teach. A shame, but you do you. Peace.
