This is a fantastic thread, thanks for trying to actually pinpoint. It gives me hope that maybe they can fix it on the software end one day, similar to the brake issue. Do you think that’s the case?
This is actually false, I owned a Prius, same transmission/ similar design. I just copied and pasted an explanation from the Prius world on what occurs on long descents when battery reaches full:
“The ICE is indeed spinning at the times you mention, but it is not "on". Your Prius is using...
Having been more of a Honda and Toyota guy I am equal parts excited and terrified about my Mav that is set to arrive any day. I guess I can sell it in a bit if things look rough… but I’d love for them to address these quality issues, as their CEO has acknowledged.
Darn, I like the idea of the ziploc style, wish I ordered during Boxing Day sale or whatever it was. I guess there probably won’t be any other sales soon.
Mine was around mid Oct 2021 order. The roll over 2023 XL hybrid W 360, hitch, floor mats, rear window is in shipping and apparently arriving mid Jan to west coast of Canada.
I fully gave up at one point, but my dealer encouraged me to see it through. I found out today my truck is in transit and should be arriving mid January. I’ve owned a Prius, and owned a pickup… but never a hybrid pickup, and never a new vehicle. Pretty stoked!
Aside from trying to avoid car...
Dealer gave me a VIN for my 2023! Allegedly late jan as well. Originally a 2021 OCT, XL hybrid order. Haven’t been able to get the tracker working yet, need the order # too I guess?
I think you will want to be careful, they might not seat very well. To me this is not worth getting wrong, as the size of the cones are different: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/bronco-sport-lug-nuts.23919/post-451883
Bought a Gen1 Toyota Matrix- it’s cheap and super rad how the seats fold flat, plastic with rails for tie downs. I put a hitch on a bought a Kuat bike rack, we are good to go for a few years as I am cancelling my 2023 rollover. Will ride out this weird economy/ world for a bit then decide in a...
I’m in Canada, got rewarded for waiting 1 year for an XL hybrid with a 15% increase in price for the 23 rollover. Considering bailing out and never buying a Ford again.
Good news, my dealer emailed this morning that my 2022 was rolled over to 2023, and my priority based on my original order will be maintained.
Downside: price (total MSRP for XL hybrid with some additional bits) went up 15%. Original total MSRP: $29,345.00, new MSRP: $33,855.00. After tax this...
Just a random heads up- I was looking at small print on my credit card, and it doesn’t cover rental of a pickup truck in terms of insurance, so don’t forget to grab theirs.
Yeah you made the right call. I stopped by Coastal about 6 months into my order wait, they seemed sharper. So far my guys have been cordial but very vague. I wish they could offer me a more modernized experience. Good luck on your process!
