Dealerships are there to make money in my opinion. 65% wear with low mileage seams like they want to sell you new ones. Check the tread depth yourself and see if they actually are 65% worn. Check center and as well as the side tread. After reading your post I checked mine and they are still at...
Ok so I returned after 17 days and it started up with no issues. Drove 5 miles and after parking, the Ford Pass app stated "Drive to reconnect Ford Pass." So you must drive for a longer distance to charge the battery fully. Nice to know. Attaching a tender is probably the best bet.
Dealer wants to make more$$. Thats their business. Losing sliding window, and keypad are the negatives. Positive is new 3 year warranty, and possibly less updates .
I agree 100%. Im in the 4th quarter and will drive normally. My last car, a Highlander got 22mpg. Mav gets twice that. Im a happy camper. Newer Highlander hybrid gets 35mpg. Love it
That is my exact issue. On vacation and after 7 days, I got a notification that the "Vehicle in battery save mode please drive your vehicl to refresh status and remote features. Hopefully it will start when I return in a week. Otherwise Ill just start it and next time use a tender.

However I have a Hybrid Highlander and no clicks ever...
Many threads on this very same issue. Very sorry that you had this happen during the hot weather. I too worry about that same issue as many others do also. From what I have read here, most of that same failure to keep running happens sometime after a recall has been performed. Others may have...
