I used the coil spring compressor from harbor freight. You can get them on amazon for cheaper. You only need the compressor for the front struts. The rear springs come out easily by hand.
I'm running the Eibach springs on my Hybrid Lariat. The ride is a lot better then the H&R Escape springs. I had them before and it was a terrible ride.
I had the H&R escape springs on my hybrid. They road terrible. Very bumpy with no suspension travel. I now have Eibach for the maverick and it ride 10 times better.

I installed the H&R springs part # 28633-2 on my Hybrid Lariat. It's a little to low in the rear so I'll put some 1/2" spacer in the rear. Overall it rides pretty firm with some bounce to it.
