You are right about not using it much. I made one years ago for my f150 and then shrunk it to fit the mav. Mostly a few times a year to get firewood, but it definitely works well. Also the price was right! it folds flat and stores with my ladders in garage

Also did you price a pump? $$$. Check the foam cover, try a new one or add some noise cancelling cover to it, like for body panel rattles. Clicking is the nature of operation for this part.
