  1. Trickle charger unable to charge 12v battery?

Yes I'm aware of that, but @Ringo's dealer suggested simply delete the app not disable it from the car, and if it truly makes a difference that having the app installed is doing more polling/communicating in the background than it needs to. I just took a look at my April-May FordPass data usage...
  2. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

Would be a good idea to figure out how much current your radar detector draws first, then make an educated guess if it will be safe to tap from there or not.
  3. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

@rth121 , yup just tap 12v labeled in my picture in this post, assuming it runs on 12v. Purple wire out of the original forward camera hardness is +12v, black is ground. (y)
  4. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

@Syntax Error , A119v3 only draws 2w ~0.4A when recording at 1440p60 with GPS, basically negligible. Drove all day with it and works flawlessly.
  5. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

@Syntax Error My A119v3 will be here Friday to test this out. 👍
  6. Trickle charger unable to charge 12v battery?

Would be interesting to measure the draw difference. Weird since there's no reason why these apps should be running/doing anything in the background. In fact I never ever use the app, I just have all the commands such as remote start, lock, unlock, etc all linked to my Google Assistant voice...
  7. Trickle charger unable to charge 12v battery?

Dang you're right, I just hooked it up to another car and sure enough it's doing the same thing. Total coincidence this charger died, nothing to do with the Maverick. Time to shop for a replacement. After seeing all the hybrid Deep Sleep threads I was a little bit paranoid to see that warning...
  8. Trickle charger unable to charge 12v battery?

Got deep sleep notification yesterday after leaving my OBD bluetooth reader plugged into the car for the past 2 days. Hooked up my trusty DieHard trickle charger to both under the hood and directly to the 12v battery today and my charger simply refuse to charge. It turns on to "analyzing" and...
  9. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

HomeLink usually gets constant 12v, auto dim and compass usually get key-switched 12v. Because there is no constant, always hot 12V to tap from on this forward camera module harness, so just tie both to same 12v source.
  10. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

I'm sure this will work just fine, as its just taking power from the forward collusion warning camera. The beauty of this harness is you don't even need to access the sunglass/map light panel, that black cover above the mirror is all you need to pull off. Yeah the 12V to forward camera is key...
  11. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

Do you happen to know how many amps A119V3 draws? I got one coming and am planning to opening it up and stealth molding it into the mirror cover. Plus I got TONS of DC step down boards. 😅
  12. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

Yup! XLT no c360, I switched out the original mirror plug with a smaller latched plug to save some space. If anyone in SoCal/OC is interested in one, I got parts for an extra one or two. 👍
  13. PSA: accessories.ford.com 5.25% cash back at Topcashback

Doh! I just tried a few other coupon I had saved, SPRING15 still takes 15% off, multiple places are claiming CLAIM523 takes 20% off $300+, I just tried it, CLAIM523 takes off 20% when the subtotal is over $380. Not as good of a deal if you're just trying to spend Ford points with as little out...
  14. Hybrid battery voltage meter .

OBD reader hardware. I cleaned up those PIDs I downloaded but am questioning how accurate those equations/readings are. Since you guys' OBD readers were able to read more from ECU directly I want to get one that can too to at least verify some of the data from those PIDs.
  15. It's Lowered...But... issues with Eibach lowering springs

    Interesting. thanks for the pic!
  16. Hybrid battery voltage meter .

Thanks for the csv. I compared the data and this list you have seems to have came from Torque's Ford predefined set. Seems like it's either our OBD is outputting different data (unlikely) or possibly these OBD reader are not the same components inside. @mamboman777 which OBD reader do you...
  17. Hybrid battery voltage meter .

@Gullzway, Hum not sure I've seen purple data output in Torque before. Green is default reading from OBD, brown on my screenshot was custom PID, not sure what purple is? Can you go to your Torque settings > Settings > Manage extra PIDs/Sensors and see if you have anything listed in that screen...
  18. Hybrid battery voltage meter .

I got it working, ended up finding some custom PIDs on this post on f150gen14.com and loaded them into my Torque, there are many that don't seem to work with Maverick, when I have time I will clean up the PID codes and upload it here. This is INSANETY, I'm going to clamp a spare phone next to...
  19. Hybrid battery voltage meter .

Ordered the exact same one and it came in today, still no Hybrid battery data on Torque Pro. Figured maybe it's my Pixel 7 so went and dug out my old Essential PH-1, samething no hybrid battery data. Saw this setting in Torque Pro menu, did you had to input any PID? 🤔
