I have read that as well. I was hoping that the recall fix that is coming will raise the charging level from 80 to 95%. I have access to forscan but a little afraid to start messing with that just yet.
Before I recently retired, I put 10,000 miles on my Mav driving daily. Now that I am retired, I drive less and therefore, I expected to start receiving battery saver notifications. I know a fix is coming and/or I need to replace the battery, but here is my question I could not find in the forum...
Don’t suppose you have a pic that would I’d where yours was in the door/fender do you? I want to make sure I am looking at the right thing. Still have the noise but what I checked was wedged fairly tight. Thanks for this info. Driving me crazy
I have one of these and it works great. We use it all the time and take it out when not needed or wanted. You adjust two straps to the right length one time and it pulls out and stops and back in and stops. See link ...
I have the exact same issue. It happens everytime but just on the 1st call. If they call back it works fine. I have never been able to find out how to fix other then make a call when you get in to drive
Thanks for that information CurtisB. Very helpful. I have had no problems yet, but know it will be coming and want something that will fit. Now if I just knew Forscan to raise the charge level from 80 to 95%!
I plan to put these on my 23 hybrid when time. I did put these on my 21 VW Tiguan and they are smooth and quiet, which is what I was looking for. Gas mileage in that car was unaffected
